The gestation of Lamparas Arturo Alvarez occurred while working in a furniture factory in the field of electrical maintenance. His attraction to luminaire design came with the exploration of the curious technique of working with colored glass by the artist Louis Comfort Tiffany.

All the experiences accumulated throughout his life have influenced his career to shape his work, to what it is today. «The landscapes, my travels, the people I know, the animals, the wonderful textures of nature … My house and study are full of branches, seeds, leaves, shells and stones.»

Thanks to the great reception of his first works by critics and the public, his career was not long in being successful. Arturo is now the design head of his own brand, Lamparas Arturo Alvarez. And the team composed by himself and other designers has created a set of ideas, combining ingenuity, innovation and technical expertise around the ideals and ethics of the company.
